Hi Guys,

I conducted an experiment using Xrumer profile link blast 3 weeks ago. I have 33 product pages spread on different domains (33 URLs, inner pages). I created 12K profile links for each of the URLs, my target keywords are low competitive. I link directly to my URLs and vary my anchor text.

My results after 3 weeks.

Successs (top 5 in Google)
-----------
9 URLs

Inital success (TOP 5 in Google) but listings vanished after one week
---------------------------------------------------------------------
7 URLs

No ranking change or almost no ranking change
=============================================
5 URLs

Total fail , drop in ranking or deep down burried under other listings
---------------------------------------------------------------------
12 URLs

As you can see above, my success rate is 48% (success + inital success). However, I am experiencing problem with vanishing listings, 7 of my listings initially had great rankings (top 5 in Google) for 5-7 days and then vanish after that, none of my sites are deindexed but I can't find my listings that have initial success everytime I type my keywords in Google.

Questions:

- Is my stat normal/bad/good?
- What is the cause for vanishing listings and how to combat it?
- How long should I wait more before I can came up with final conclusion?
- Any good chance for my vanishing listings to reappear again in top 5 of G?
- Is 12K profile links for a URL (inner page) too many?

Thx!

@OP can be more spesific ?
like what your keyword SOC that already succes on TOP 5 ?

I don't use SOC parameter But I usually target keyword that have at least three PR 0/zero backlink listings in the top ten.

Well, First of alll, it takes a lot of time for google to index or even find all such backlinks because they are from PR0 pages that aren't active or updated often.

2) This type of link building is not natural .. google is very good at detecting unnatural behaviours. If you do build links at such pace that would mean that you have come up with some great product probably which would then mean that you should be featured on websites like digg, stumbleupon, mashable etc and news sites. But, that isn't the case so google decide it is a spam tactic and pushes you way down.

3) If you want to get your pages back up, keep dong what you are doing .. keep building the backlinks at 1k-2k per day and keep it going. And also try getting backlinks from High pr pages.

And yes, i think 12k links per page is too much.

Well, this is my 2 cents .. this is what I would do!

This sounds like junk from matt cutts typical 'misinformation campains' on his blog. I know you mean well,
but this is just not true brother. When sites go viral or a search term becomes very active in a short period
of time (as seen on google trends), there is a large amount of linking done in a short period of time and a
large buzz created in online forums.

Google can't possibly implement an algorithm to double check whether or not a site is also "featured" on
certain sites because each time it would vary to such a huge degree there would be no way to compensate
for this kind of variance.

I don't think 12k is too many.

Yes, it takes google some time to get all the backlinks. Alot of forum profiles link aren't searchable. I run forums and I put /profile/* into my robot.txt

These backlinks are PR N/A and PR 0. They do count as backlinks, by using traffic travis, you will see all the backlinks you have. Since they are low PR, google probably give them very little weight or even close to Zero, but if you have a lot of them, it adds up the weight.

I have done 15k forum profiles links a day and seeing my google ranking jump, slowly....

I haven't experience any drop so far.

I think your sites will be back... I don't believe G penalizes you for backlinks... that something you have no direct control over... so they can't really penalize you. It may, trigger some filters where they pull you back in the rankings to take a closer look at your site, but I believe in a short time you will be back at least where you were.

I just went through something similar... put on about 8,000 profile links and disappeared from a number 5 spot. Can back a week later and a week after that I'm sitting at #2.

That being said, I wouldn't go crazy with the links because I wholeheartedly believe they may discount them (not penalize) and all of your hard work/money would go out the window for nothing.

too many profiles, vary anchor text yes. use google webmaster tools.

Lol
Keep link building !

Give it some time...

Keep building more and more links and varying the link sources will help in the longterm too.
