Xrumer... a mini anticlimax...

Im learning more each day regarding Xrumer and Hrefer.

Yet i can't help but notice that it gives you "successful postings" which when you check... aren't successful at all... what gives?

When searching for forums with Hrefer 95% are completely unrelated to my keywords, what's the best way to search? I've tried making a list (words.txt) of say 10+ concrete keywords, then i use notepad++ to select all the lines in linklist.txt with my keywords in, and message to those, but that doesnt leave a lot of URL's...

I understand there's a learning curve... yesterday i tried blasting out 1500+ PM's to two forums advertising a niche, no interest... (did it really work?) Anybody had success with PM blasts?

Today i have made 3 hubpage pages with links to my money site, each with good keywords, then in Xrumer i am sending out posts with the 3 URL's "hidden" in the text as backlinks. This is another issue, the "hiding" of links doesn't work on a lot of forums yet it says it analyses the CSS to make the entire text identical.

I don't regret buying it at all, just voicing a few concerns and hoping others can lend their opinions... and please dont post things like "its great if you know how to use it, i made pure bank in 5 minutes of buying it" :o

*I would not use link disguise and hiding text with the background color, this is really BS.

Better use
- Q/A-system
- Edit posts afterwards (elist-posting)
- Linked smiles with alt-text
- Try out the antispam-system (I did not so far, but hope, this will really work well)

* How many succesfuls? Make a link db analysis... The question is mostly, how many links stick after e.g. 7days. This is actually the most important thing I missed out in the beginning: you have to know if your posts stick or you waste your time. You can also try with absolute bullshit posts and then see which posts stick - those are the unmoderated forums where you can post anything, e.g. synonymized/markov/bs text which matches well your url you want to promote.

* Yes, HRefer gives you many forums etc which do not100% match your keyword. But look, there are not so many forums for keyword "fridged in alaska". Moreover, when using LinksList-posting mode, you can specify your main categories. Harvested forums have often many categories, which in LinksList mode in turn increases the chance, that you get something somehow targetted.

get a better link list
use the antispam system (warning, not recommended on a box with less than 4gig of ram and 4 cores!)
 
Does xrumer require a lot of learning for everyone? Has anyone ever popped that baby and went running?
 
id like to know also, really considering buying this
 
Search for "Xrumer" for example on official vBulletin support forum and u'll why u can't send PM's with ur fresh registered users... and same thing is on almost all forum engines...
 
Pretty much all tools that submit will show that its posted even when it hasnt.

If you go and manually submit with charles installed you will see that it shows posted even when you cant see your link.

Only way is to have a program go back and check each link before it reports to you which is way too resource intensive.
 
als othe PM spammer is not perfect in xrumer, rather use it for spamming with posts etc not PM

anyways in older versions of ur software it didnt work too good [getting userlist, speed of pms, boring tweaking on userside for some preety popular cmses, real success ratio] but indeed on the latest version internetional [i dont know maybe the previous russian verions that we didnt get had it too?] i just heard u fixed alot and from what people told me seems it is working well.

but due to previous problems most older users like me got their private spammers for forums so i didnt test this in newest version as i dont need it now - fix came too late for me :)
 
Xrumer is no magic. It certainly requires lot of learning, atleast in my case. With a new bought domain last month, I am sitting on page 1 of both google and yahoo for a very general but lucrative keyword. And the website homepage is PR4 ( and now $$$ csing :P). So, it proves that Xrumer does work. But to make that happen, I had to go through a steep learning curve.
 
I am at the very beginning of learning process.

I have used xrumer for few days now and it is really powerful toy! :)
Well posting, antispam and all advanced options isn't a problem but for me pain in the ass is database analysing, sorting and black list removing and so on. I am making loads of mistakes there. But OK it is only few days now since I am using this masterpeace.

Of course I will try to post some success/failure story later on

I honestly thought its going to be harder than it is.
Its NOT that hard to operate and just dont understand what they meant by a steep learning curve?

SEO is complex. The tool itself is not.

It certainly was a LOT easier to operate than Xsite Pro which in my experience had a steep learning curve.
Its only about as complex as Senuke or Search Engine cloaker.

SEO is hard. The software itself, you can run the first day, after a couple of hours playing with it.

C'mon!! SeoLinkPro does not work (can't say the same bout AutoPligg, that is and old powerful tool), that's a BIG difference.
 
It's not that XRumer is hard, its the fact that there are many options but some are not self explanatory. If you doing a long of testing with the campaign template creation you will definitely do good in the SERPS. No matter what though, if you're using it to build backlinks to your website, the website needs to still be engaging for the visitor or else it's pointless.
