Just tried to install Xrumer 7 on a machine running win 7. Installed it in C:/Xrumer7. Problem is, I cannot run start.exe. It just does not do anything at all.
Checked task manager and it's not like the .exe file is freezing, it just doesn't start at all. No start.exe, xrumer.exe or anything there.
Added the folder and all exe files in it to antivir and comodo firewall exceptions in case something is blocking the app. No difference either.
Tried different ips for the hosts file - ips I got via email when ordering and ips I found on various forums. No difference.
Tried reinstalling numerous times, tried putting xrumer_key.txt in the folder or not (as some people told me it's needed for xrumer 5 only). No difference.
I simply cannot get the app to start at all, for some reason. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated as I'm already starting to yell at my screen like a rabid monkey.
PS: Running it as administrator.
