xmarks shutting down!

I have relied on this plugin for forever for keeping me organized online. Man I will miss it a lot. They have a pledge going right now asking if you'd be willing to pay $10-$20 a year to use this plugin, and I would say hell yes.

This is the best plugin for firefox imo it's just so great I can even access all my bookmarks on my blackberry, it keeps passwords for me, just pure awesome I will be sad to see it go.

Thanks for the link. I joined the pledge. I switch back and forth between two computers and Xmarks has kept me from going insane trying to synch my bookmarks by hand.

Firefox 4 has Sync. It's EXACTLY like Xmarks.

You can test sync as a browser plugin right now.

Don't worry. There is no need to save anything as the new browser or the plugin will have the same functionality.
