xGenSEO recently disappoints - thoughts?

I've been using this software for a while, and in the past it had worked really well. After not using it for a while (few weeks to a month due to simply being really busy all the time) I came back to it and found that it just isn't living up to an acceptable cost-benefit ratio. Issues I've noticed are:

Consistently failing captcha solves
Video submission (still marked as BETA) just sucks.
Campaigns and accounts have information (i.e. author info) deleted, forcing me to fill out this info from scratch again.
Campaigns and accounts cannot be retrieved in the upper-right dropdown menu - I often have to exit out of the program and restart just to find campaigns that I wasn't actively working on.

Overall this software is just too expensive to be giving me these issues - obviously I tried working it out with their support but really had no luck - they kept using me like a guinea pig asking for my log.dat file and trying to figure out why their software blows but not actually helping me fix anything (ok, done venting )

Anyway, what does the BHW community think of this software? Got a good alternative for Article/Video/MicroBlog/SocialBookmark/RSS/Ping/etc. submissions? Ideally one-time payment with a good history of success.

P.S. -- My first post! Just joined but have had several months experience with SEO and IM - no expert, but definitely in the game now! Show some love if you care to - I'll be around more and more as time goes on - I'll try not to lurk too much

Come now - just because I'm brand new doesn't mean I have e-leprosy... I know others out there use this software, so what do you think of it? Is it worth the money IYO? Does is work well for you, or do you also feel like it's not living up to its potential?

I moved away from XGenSEO a while ago. Just turned into way to much of a pain. I don't really like these types of tools that are supposed to be an end all solution. They never live up to the expectations. I prefer to use specific tools for specific jobs. Others may have better experiences with it, so I can only speak for myself, but I don't find it worth the time.

My sentiment exactly. Although I do like the idea of multi-tasking software (kind of why ScrapeBox is so good). It's tough to find a balance between price (one-time payment or monthly payments) and the value of the software (totally depends on how often/how well you use it).

Just wish they moved on towards socket based submissions..

Forgive my ignorance, but what are socket based subs? (I will research this independently in the mean time but if you care to share, I'm very curious)

Quantity, quality, speed............ All sucks

Simply put, it's a way to connect directly to the websites instead of relying on the OS' default browser (has limitations). Faster, makes multi-threading easier as well, but not as easy to implement (so I've heard) in a software.

Sadly, it seems as if the developers gave up on xgenseo. That's why I went with senuke. It may be muc more pricer than the xgenseo, but it's so much faster, powerful, and always constantly have consistent updates.
