Xfactor's authority site guide question

Hey guys,

I have a quick question to everyone who has read this book and can help me. So I have just finished The authority site adsense guide (started it mostly to finally understand what I was doing wrong with my KW research but read it all as it is brilliant) and wanted to ask if you know if there are any parts of this book outdated when it comes to safety (due to algo changes), ie. onpage seo, kw density or linkbuilding or anything else he suggests us to do? Or is it so fundamental white hat knowledge that it will probably never outdate?
