If you ask me, I personally like Xenforo.

I would prefer Xenforo too. It has some nice UX experience while I feel IPB is still living in those 2011-12 time. If I was going for a forum opening, I'd be going with Xenforo as that's the future.

Xenforo... the reason is simple.. it is sort of derived (and improved) from vBulletin and so, the overall base and features are better due to the popularity and community based support of vBulletin (many of whom are now active in Xenforo too). vBulletin/Xenforo sites look a lot more professional compared to IPB and that has been the case since the start of forum scripts.

I must agree, Xenforo is the sweetest and there are a ton a terrific themes and plugins that you can go with it.
