If I bought an aged acc from 2022 and it is ghost banned, is the account cooked or i can still fix it?

Sometimes it can recover with normal activity, no spam, and profile cleanup.

But aged accounts aren’t always worth saving if the trust score is already damaged.

Ofc it's a gamble. honestly, it often is cooked. depends on the platform, of course, but the ban likely happened for a reason, and those reasons usually stick around. if you're thinking of trying to fix it, first check how many of your old posts get likes. if it's zero, then consider it gone. you're gonna spend more time and money trying to revive it than just starting fresh and building up organically
It's an X acc and its blank

With AI its likely cooked but if it's not banned and you have nothing to lose. Just comment normally, like, and post but don't use it as your main account to push anything. Warm it up occasionally when you get the chance, and see how it works out

Depends how deep the flag is. Some aged accounts can come back after a quiet period and normal-looking activity, but if it was already marked hard before you bought it, the 2022 age won’t save much. Old account history matters more than the year on the profile. For running more accounts later, an antidetect browser with a clean proxy helps keep the setup from getting linked again.

If it’s a real “ghost ban” on X (shadow limiting reach), sometimes it can recover, but a bought aged account from 2022 is already high risk. Most of the time it stays limited unless the restriction gets lifted automatically after clean usage + normal activity over time.
If it’s still not getting impressions after a few days of normal posting, assume it’s basically cooked and move on.

Not necessarily cooked. I've seen accounts recover after a few weeks of normal activity. I'd avoid spammy behavior, complete the profile, post consistently, and engage with other accounts naturally. If impressions stay near zero after a month or so, starting fresh might honestly be the better option.

It depends, if it's been inactive or pivoting niches, you kinda expect something like that but it doesn't last too long and with the right warup, it should be fine. That said, a lot of factors can affect that, like if the account has had previous infractions and etc. Hard to say exactly, but I still think it's worth a swing.

Have you tried appealing? There's a chance that you might recover the account if you appeal for it on X's support team.

I'd avoid assuming it's permanently cooked right away. A lot of purchased accounts have low reach because they've been inactive for a long time, changed owners, changed topics, or have a history that the new owner doesn't know about. That can look like a shadowban even when the account is still technically fine.

I'd spend a few weeks posting normally, engaging with other accounts, and checking whether impressions gradually improve. If replies, posts, and profile visits are getting some visibility, there's a good chance the account can recover. If impressions stay near zero across all content despite consistent activity, then the account may have deeper issues that are harder to fix.

In my experience, an aged account with low reach isn't necessarily dead, but it may take time to rebuild trust and activity signals.
