Hello, I am currently working on an online streaming/movies website. the other websites in the same niche have wwvv. or vvv. subdomains. I want to know why? If anyone knows, is this some blackhat seo thing?
(example: type Streaming complet in google and check the first 3 results)

I can't see any reason why they would do that, maybe they're doing it in an attempt to get overlooked by Google, though I can't see that working.
If it was in the domain name I would have guessed that they are trying to imitate another website but replacing www with vvv doesn't make any sense to me.

a Few of them is ranked first/second page but the domains was registered only a few days/weeks ago and they redirect their traffic to the wwv/wvv/vww subdomains it has to do something with SEO

I can't see why Google would give them any more love than anyone else. If it was as simple as putting vvv. in front of your domain everyone would be doing it.
I'd assume they ranked quickly as the people running them are regularly setting up new websites and have a good understanding of SEO rather than the vvv thing.
Just my humble opinion.

Probably owned by the same guy, using the same script/setup?

uhh... it's because of DMCA reports. Cmon guys. If you're main domain is removed from index, you need to change it up.

Not sure, i saw a few of their domains registered 5/6 days ago and rank first page for good keywords using vww/wvv. DMCA reports is not that fast i had a few of my links removed from google it takes time.

i dont think, its different designs/cms and not the same movies database.

Im under the impression Google would block your domain rather than specific sub-domains. However, if that does get around Google's ban then that seems likely to be the case.

as you can see its not a ban from google, they have www and wwv (see screenshot) https://i.imgur.com/5FcTgVo.png

Very smart. When you deal with streaming DMCA is something that you have to deal with all of the time. Instead of buying new domains they seem to get around it by moving the index to a subdomain and redirecting all of the existing pages.

The one im watching currently shows www9. there is 1-9 in the www im also thinking of getting into the niche so i looked at backlinks and is building them on 1-9 I guess its to avoid DMCA
