Did you know that the links from yahoo answers are nofollow... wtf... since when?

Actually it used to be do follow, and you're a little too late there. It's been no follow for a long time now.

There was a time when nofollow was still inside the egg and nobody knows about it, after his birth he have prove to be of value for alot of people but even though he also had alot of enemies who love the charm of black hatting, this little boy (nofollow) hatch from the egg after the great Spring Period (A) Mass [SPAM].

Actually, I was in the egg too at that time but I heard it from my grandfather's bedtime stories.

And yahoo answers have been implementing nf since I was a kid, by the way.

Blackdan.

Its been nofollow for probably a year now

does this mean that when you post a link in the source and they click the link it brings them to an yah00 answers error page or what?

I though people were makin money with YA... how are they doing it if the links wont bring visitors to their sites?

It'll still take them to your page, it just means that it wont affect your ranking (SEO)

Don't worry about the "no follow" for YA.
Yahoo Answers is heavily scraped for autoblogs and autoforums. Your links will still be given some weight on the blogs and forums.

@dvdcowboy, but autoblogs and autoforums don't scrap the links with "nofollow" ?

I don't remember the exact date that i saw a post on DP saying that yahoo answers are nofollow. But i dont care if it is i just want to get traffic from them that's all :)

hey...i am getting some 999 error whenever i used to submit any post...can anybody help me resolving this issue???
