WTF! Paypal now keeping fees on refunds

I hope this doesn't apply in your country, but just received these new terms and conditions from paypal effective today... No doubt coming to a place near you soon!.....

If you issue a full refund of the Commercial Payment, we will retain the full Fixed Fee portion of the Commercial Payments Fee.

Changes to Refund Fee for Sellers in China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam

I'm lucky for the moment. I am from Albania.
 
99% of those countries are asian .Could be because of the different currency and policies.
Anyway paypal always sucks but we are forced to use it as its the most preferred options for payments and most people prefer paypal.

True. But NZ where my PP is registered is hardly Asian... and more aligned with Australia. We are still part of the Commonwealth.... Anyways I don't think it matters what country, refunds are a legitimate part (small granted) of doing everyday business...Even CC companies recognize this..... Just another reason to go out of our way and offer others form of payment...

WOW this really blows. I mean I havent had to deal with much business from that area yet but I am sure it is only a mater of time before it hits the U.S. BUMMER

Yeah that was my point.... Its not what country you deal with, it's the country that your PP was setup in :-(
Only a matter of time as you say imho......
