I just noticed a weird gig on Fiverr and perhaps I did not expect to see such a gig. It is the first negative SEO gig I am seeing anywhere. WTF

It mentions that "I will crush your competitor and destroy his rankings for $5". In the gig extras, he is promising like negative seoing 2 or 3 more sites for additional money. And people are already starting to purchase the gig. WTF. This would really start a dirty game if it becomes popular.

Having said that, I really laugh at many of the top gigs on fiverr. Some of them promise like a 40K backlinks scrapebox or GSA blast as Google passed and advise their customers to send it directly to their money site for higher rankings. LOL. Those are like suicide orders by the customer themselves but I am surprised that negative SEO of other website is also starting to be provided as a gig.

Well you're not going to rank your site for $5 but you can certainly bring one down for $5 so that's probably the most honest Gig in the SEO section on Fiverr.

I've seen gigs like that on Fiverr like over a year ago, but you're definitely right, that shit is ludicrous.

Well i will say, he is just being honest. Though there are plenty of gigs providing thousands of links. Seller doesn't care if you provide him your tier 1/2 links to power up or just 1 url (Your Competitor).

It makes me sick to the stomach whenever I come across nasty shit like this...I hope people can stay away from negative SEO, because in this world, what goes around comes around.

People buying those negative SEO gigs are the same ones that buy "40k top quality, google safe backlinks for $5". Buying big blast gigs on Fiverr is basically negative SEO on yourself anyway. Suicide SEO I guess you could call it. Ha.

Wtf do people care so much about this? One thing you need to learn, all fiverr gigs are crap - including the negative seo ones. For $5 you'll probably get 50-100k scrapebox or xrumer links, out of the 100k only 20k will actually be live, out of the 20k only 2k or less will be taken into consideration by google. So no harm done, you CAN'T do negative seo for just $5, no one can...

Further more, no one can do anything properly for just $5...

I couldn't have said it better. There are sellers advertising 300K, 500K even 600K backlinks for $5, but you'd be lucky to get 10% of that. Plus, 90% of the links are nofollow. The sellers know they can get away with this. You won't give them a bad review, because you want to remain anonymous.

But I have to disagree that there is no harm done. Those who truly understand negative SEO, know that Google won't discredit a site if it detects tens of thousands of new backlinks within a short period of time. A few hundred or even a few thousand links with the right anchor text, is all it takes to damage small to medium sized sites. Plus, these smaller attacks generally go unnoticed.

There are some good gigs out there, if you focus on quality instead of quantity.

What did you expect? Practically all services on Fiverr are negative SEO. Oh, those 50k spam comment links are gonna help your rankings?
