the other day there was a thread 4 days to first page of google. and the guy has been banned for not knowing whats the difference between follow & no-follow link.

domain is on first page. good job.

Really? It made it to the first page? It wasn't hard competition but still, that's pretty good.

That's a bit tough no? Idk.. I remember that thread, read through it a bit and it seemed he was babbling alot but I mean.. there's a guy who started a thread saying "fast way to see if your site is indexed" and his method was "type in google site:www.yourdomain.com" .. and then he actually said "plz give me thanks and rep for this" or something. At least the first guy was (i think) really trying to offer some insight or share some info...
 
Looked at the thread again and he was banned for always selling stuff. But that's good he made it to the first page.
 
I've been following it too, he was #8 two days ago, #5 today. He was late due to other commitments, and I now believe him - the guy has ranked, and he's done it fast.
 
He ranked it fast, but will it stay? It's still easy to rank using spammy backlinks but after the panda/pengiun refresh that happens every 20-30 days, I doubt it will stay there.
 
Dude thats a shit kw about roulettes in vegas with 1k exacts... if you have trouble ranking that kw... then please go back to DP or WF
 
I don't think it's going to stay, he blasted hundreds of links at it from blog comments it seems.

My guess would be that perhaps someone else blasted his site, cuz it doesn't seem like his approach, especially with the way he was build links slowly on his thread.

If you have a 7 day old site with two pages and 1,200 words of content, you wouldn't want 2 links pointing to your site but you wouldn't want 100 either. There's an exact count of links that Google considers perfect for your site that's dependent on multiple factors so yes, have these techniques been practiced in the past? Yes. But, how they're implemented and how you practice it result in two very different outcomes.

1. He still done it quick, and was doubted by almost everybody on the forum despite the low amount of exacts.
2. It's easily monetizable, casino affiliates get paid very well

Props to the guy.

Take a look at his link portfolio. I don't think the links were built by him. They are comment spam backlinks on high OBL pages. These are the links that he said himself would not work. He also spent the first 2 days building manual links, so I doubt he would start spamming links all of a sudden.

The site was ranked #5 when I checked last night, its at #9 now so it might be dropping off already.
