Wtf is wrong with youtube

I think YT is supporting innovation, even pewdiepie can't grow like before and he's doing super popular games and is a little bit nervous I think. The snoop dogg thing is an example... something is going on

I have a new channel and idk yet...

My other channels have 5_ 10k views a day and no any drop in views , my CPM look good so far . Can someone explain exactly what is happening ?

i noticed a dip from 1st april as well, though mine wasn't as steep as yours.

I started another new channel few days ago as well . my Cpm looks fine and monitized views is great . What does that mean ? i am still on the same niche .
 
As YouTube brings more publishers in the rates tend to drop a bit... Could also be the turn in the Holiday season.

Every month has different circumstances so if there was a drop all you'd have to do is wait and get more data before jumping to conclusions.

What you should do is personally compare data at specific points to what you're doing and assess through analysis.

If you keep scaling it may take a little while before growth can be seen. If you haven't uploaded in awhile new content might have to get posted.

did you manage to understand if you dropped in ranking for popular keywords that used to drive traffic to your videos?
 
70000 views with a cpm of 12 is 840$ per day.
20000 views with a cpm of 4 is 80$ per day.

Are these numbers correct?
If so, you are doing excellent!

Can somebody confirm such a high cpm?
 
Maybe youtube has found a way to combat compilation videos and they might be penalizing that? Could that happen at all, what do you guys think?

the average CPM is around $1.5- $2

I do Youtube Marketing and SEO, and I can tell you - Their is nothing wrong with Youtube.
Google has pushed through 2 big updates (that's been under the radar) that effects Youtube's Search Engine.

One: Duplicate/Similar Content
Two: Relevancy
Three: Social Engagement

+ One is that when curated content is so similar it appears to be duplicate (depending on when you posted), your site will not only be less rewarded, but could completely fall off the map.

+ The second thing affects the first thing I mentioned. This is Relevancy. Depending how relevant your content appears to be in the eyes of Google, it will shoot your content above anyone elses, OR (again) drop you off the map.

+ Social Engagement adds to the relevancy of your content in Google's eyes. The visibility of your Videos/Website is one of the ranking factors in how users/viewers engage with your content.
