Most main stream shit is garbage. They make a somewhat catchy beat and auto tune their voice and bam, you got a hit. Typically if you listen to the lyrics they are complete garbage and rehashed songs from past decades. Sound familiar? Ya, we IM'ers do this to eachother too. I believe every generation has said this about the new generation. Rock and roll was banned in many churches when it became popular. In my day it was awful disco and satanic back-masking. Groups all named after Satanic references and occult fixtures just to piss off the religious freaks. Ozzy Osborne biting off bat or chicken heads for nothing but shock value. Kiss and groups like them with God awful makeup. We had nonsense songs, love songs, hate songs and wtf songs even back then.
I think it's just a sign of getting older when you don't appreciate the modern music, whatever it is.
