Wtf is this?!

Hello there,

I just stumbled across this website here mommyimsorry dot com and threw it through ahrev.
It got around 40K of backlinks, including a shitload of some random blogpost backlinks.

Also it seems that the website coder ist backlinking all of his webpages reciprocal.

Does these methods make sense?
How would you compete this?

Are nearly 40K backlinks not an immense amount? Before seeing that I were assuming that this kind of spamming will definitely get a penalty by google. So for competing Im just looking for some spammers to get more backlinks (parallel to quality on page seo etc for sure)

Also I'm curious because they are "only" on the third place on Google and Ahrev or Semrush telling me that I just need around 15 good backlinks to be on the first page.

Don't listen to that 15 good backlinks bs man, that is not even close to the truth.

They chose a terrible name. It sounds like an adult site. Leaving that aside, they must've tried a regular churn & burn strategy which worked in their favor.
