Google has gone through a really tight update recently.
A lot of SEO blogs that I've checked out have said that it has something to do with EAT compliance.
What does EAT stands for? Expertise, Authority and Trustworthiness.
It's very important to immediately let the reader know who you are and why you should be trusted and what you're an expert in.
Now, this doesn't necessarily mean that you have to go to a special school or you have to have tons of experience, but you have to make a good faith argument that you know what you're talking about.
Also, interlinking plays a big role because your website should not just be a collection of disconnected pages trying to snipe keyword targets for quick traffic from Google.
Those days are over.
Your website should be cohesive.
What I mean by that is that every single page that you add to your site must add value to your site as a whole but also should highlight the value of existing pages.
