WTF is error 407 when testing proxies?

I got 10 semi-dedicated proxies that worked great until today.

Testing them in SB I get Error 407.

I googled the issue but don't see to find a good reply - any idea here?

Error 407 Proxy Authentication Required.

Do the proxies require a username and password?
If so you need to enter the proxies in scrapebox in the following format IPORT:USERNAMEASSWORD
or they wont work

Thanks for reply - yes they do require a isername and password which are included but still i get the error....

Could they have expired? I was only using them yesterday....?

I had this issue with a proxy provider. I submitted a support ticket after some test turns out was a problem on there side for some reason my username password were being rejected. Contact your provider let them known what's going on.

Verify if you have any extra spaces after the password, usually people add them from the copy+paste which they are doing from the email.
