Wtf is a linkwheel?

Can someone explain link wheels to me please? Is a bunch of websites linking to each other?

Kind of like the pornhub network.

Try using the search function, a little bit of exposure to it now will help you a lot in the future as well.

Link wheels are a network of sites built to build linking power amongst themselves boosting the target site. Linkwheel designs can get complicated and there is a ton of info already on this site.

Money Site

Tier 2 linked to Tier 1 and each other

Tier 3 linked to Tier 2, and each other

I suppose what I described is a hybrid method, yes. But if you take what you described and scale it up, especially when you put multiple posts on the sites, it becomes random interlinking between sites on the same tier and to the ones above it, pretty much as described. Best to do multiple tiers

The concept of linkwheel was to get thins indexed quicker and to pass weight along the link wheel. Obviously though by linking to all your self-created content you were eventually going to get Google's attention. now Google can spot interlinked properties from link wheels.

However, creating relevant content, adding a link to your site and then linking to that content to raise the power of the link is the central idea behind it, and thats still up fro grabs, just dont create "networks" of links.
