WTF GOOLGE? Explain This! Help Needed

Ok This HAS to be a Bug or something.

I used to have around 100k Backlinks
99% of those to my index.
Yahoo shows 80k backlinks, and up untill today,Google showed 90k.
Today i realized i've lost ranking for my main KW.
So i went to check with Google Webmastertools and now it says 26 Backlinks (all of them to a sub-page, not my main page)

How can i have lost 90k backlinks in less than a day?

Did my site get hacked, and the linkjuice gets redirected?(not that i know of...)
Any ideas?
Lets just hope its a bug and will fix itself.. i dont believe in that tho...

PLEASE all of you. Help me figure this out!

You might want to check your Webmastertools to. Maybe its a new Algo change. All those links were Blog commenting...

id listen to Yahoo site explorer over logging into Google Webmasters and Reading their results.

They can be VERY inaccurate...
 
But they used to be right on.
And its not just like my links are gone in Webmastertools, i lost ranking too...
I would not give a shit about what it sais otherwise.
But as is stands now, 4 month of work an 2k+ € are down the drain and i dont even know why...
 
Like people say...Its only a matter of time before YOUR webmaster tools shows some shitty untruthful reading..like it has happened for the rest of us

As far as losing ranking...Get some High Authority BL pointing to your money site...Im thinkin like edu and govs...

Your gonna lose ranking in this Game...its inevitable.

Go back and double check everything tho..Onsite, make sure that dupe content doesnt overshadow Unique content...etc..
 
there is NO NEED TO FEAR!!!

i think there is kinda bug in webmaster tools... i have some 3 Lakhs backlinks until day before yesterday, after that there is no SINGLE BACKLINK!!

It happened last month also.. Just wait until google updates its backlinks once again..
 
There is 100% NO Dupe content on this site, its around 100 pages handwritten and released over time.
Its been ranking the same way for 4 month, and yesterday ive used Profile Link Robot for the first time ever. Maybe that is the problem? I dont know...
All that cant be a coincidence.
Using PLR for the first time -> Backlinks are GONE -> Lost ranking....
 
My links are not showing either.. only to side pages, but I wouldn't worry because I can still see all my back links in the index when searching them through Google..[ ie inurl: profile "mysite.org" ] to see the profile back links. Altho my rankings haven't dropped.

Stop being paranoid.

PLR is prolly the best forum profile creator out there right now...esp with the drip feed option..

Stop using google webmasters and your life will start to be easier again..:cool:

And wtf do u think? You will never lose ranking? Get real....
 
Might just be a fluke...give it a few days and see if your links bounce back...Google is always doing crazy crap.

Could also be if you were using BH methods and Google caught on to it they might of remove the BH links...normally though they aren't as nice as to just remove the links...they would de index your site all together so I dunno.
 
same thing happened to me

over 100K backlinks down to 1% of that displaying

that and lost impressions + rankings
 
Did it happen recently (today/yesterday/the day before?)
And:
What kind of links did you have?
 
have you finally gotten it indexed? if yes, which techniques worked at last...cheers.. :)
 
same thing happened to me on a white hat site with all real content and links. only one backlink left and it's some totally lame backlink to a random page on the site. weird...
 
Ok.
My backlinks are back:)
lets hope the ranking bounces back too...
