WTF?! Bubonic plague next?

One can only assume that things will get worse before they get better so this news seems on par with everything else going on. Here's my shocked face :-
 
If I recall bubonic plague was mostly spread by fleas and lack of handwashing. We have pest control and soap now :)

Yeah that is very true. I saw the same sign (after) feeding on of them and having it run up onto my shoulder. I know that somewhere in Aisa there are a few families with home videos filming me standing on the edge of the canyon feeding this damn squirrel lol. Glad I didn't catch anything. The prairie dogs carry it mostly around here though and there have been a few news reports over the years of people catching it or it being identified in the local vermin.

No pest control out in the middle of the countryside, plus soap is going to do fuck all for your flea bite :)
 
What about fleas on dogs.

My dog gets lot of fleas

I am sure I have bitten at least once
 
Did a Chinese research lab get compromised. Thats like the 3rd thing that's come out of China since this outbreak.

He is right, I have seen like dozens of articles related to swine flu in past couple of days.
 
Yikes. At least I can stay in my mom's basement and build websites. Traffic might drop from all the dead people.
