WTF?! 2,200 clicks, 0 conversions?

I am marketing on Twitter, a simple email submit offer that is US only, I sent out about 2,000 tweets.

My bit.ly link stats say I got 35 clicks, and this is what my CPA account says....

Now, I was expecting more than 35 clicks, but not 2,200. How do the stats say that if I only got so many clicks on the bit.ly link in the first place?

By the way, the offer who's name I colored over is a new offer that I don't want to have everyone know about just yet. That's the one I was targetting.

VERY frustrated and confused right now.

something is defiantly up. Adscend is great in tracking. Doesnt twitter bypass bitly I dont know cause I dont twitter.
 
Twitter conversions are shit, I couldn't generate a single penny from 1K UVs with targeted offer.
 
Reasons could be:
1. social media websites are not that effective when its come to conversion but you can get alot of clicks indeed.
2. make special landing page for conversion, make sure you make these pages simple and attractive, the best practices is to have close look on competitors landing pages strategy.
3. call to action is really important factor, make some attractive offers to grab your visitors attention toward signups.

You're lucky to get all of those clicks ;)

I made about 150 tweets, got 70 bit.ly clicks, but ONE offer click on a content locker. Twitter is garbage unless you have some crazy targeted offer.
 
My feelings about twitter, it s all about quantity.
People who are making some money on twitter are currently sending more than 10 000 tweets a day.
 
Not all of those 2k clicks are real visitors, twitter has a lot of bots/spiders which bit.ly doesn't count. Twitter is really hard to convert without a very targeted landing page.

You are right... Are you guys able to keep your accounts alive on Twitter... Twitter is being turning my account off after a few @ messages like is a switch or something.
 
Before some days i was discussing with one guy and he illustrated all proof for 10k visitors/0 conversions

Make sure to use spinned tweets so barely any of them are duplicates. But only manually spin so that all of them make sense. Also, are your accounts aged and verified? If not I would verify them all and then keep them for a week or two, making sure to auto-follow a few people and tweet a few random, scraped tweets.

Maybe they're tracking bot clicks. I had that issue a looong time ago. Twitter gets crawled like crazy.
 
I have never tried Twitter traffic but I have seen several CPA offers specifically say "NO TWITTER TRAFFIC". So, it must be junk traffic in general.
 
I think it must have been bots that bypass bit.ly, there's no way I go that many clicks a conversion. Guess I'll just have to use my Twitter traffic for clicks only ;)
