WTB: White Hat Links for Lawyer

Hi Guys,

First off, I hope this is in the right thread, wasn't sure where to put this...

Anyway, I have a large budget for links for a law firm I'm working on. I need to purchase whitehat links, or need assistance getting on reputable websites or news sites. If you can help in any way, or are selling links on legitimate legal sites, hit me up!

You don't purchase "whitehat" links, you get them naturally through powerful content and social media. Be careful when purchasing links since you can't be guaranteed good quality.

I might get you into Entrepreneur, Forbes and WSJ if you have the budget and if the content we have to link to is not spammy crap. Let me know if your client is ready to say goodbye to $2K/link. If you don't have this budget don't contact me

I would recommend getting a little bit of knowledge about each one of the people you are looking to hire. Ask lots of questions. Make sure you aren't being taken to the cleaners!

Stop thinking of spending money on the problem and start spending manhours. Buying links will get you banned.

You can buy listings in major paid directories, but that is it. PERIOD. Do not buy links for local businesses.

You only need to do some link outreach. A legal firm has all sorts of possibilities that it can leverage to get mentions on other sites, lists (top 10 things never to say after an accident), infographics, Q and A column syndication, press releases for pro bono work, anything the owners do in the social or political world, any charity events, sponsor a little league team, legal aid appearances, the list is endless.

Create buzz about your client and get real links you earn. They will never hurt you.

Buying even one link can get your site penalized. As soon as the link network is exposed, all sites in the network take a hit. For a local business, this can be catastrophic, and since it is a blackhat method and against google guidelines, it can get you sued.

If your customer agrees to using blackhat methods, get it in writing.

That is debatable. And would depend of if we're talking about Google's definition or an SEO marketer's definition. Frankly if you're gaming the system in an off-site attempt to create links which boost your rank I have a difficult time calling it true white hat. Now the links you're talking about are great links, and definitely the best way to go in my opinion... but this whole white/black/gray hype is SEO marketing. It's not as if Google would give any link building tactic their seal of approval, so putting a safe sounding label on anything SEO is a misnomer in my book.
