WSO's have literally turned into total shit

OK, this is just a rant.

I was reading a WSO about 'traffic generation' and it is the BIGGEST piece of bollocks I have EVER read. The irony is the bloke that wrote it probably made a few thousand dollars out of it.

The WSO's coming out these days are total shit.... and the people promoting them to their list are just as bad!

That's it.... I am writing a WSO on how to wipe your own ass and turn the shit into gold! Who would buy that?

Actually considered selling one recently, but you gotta cough up about 80 bucks before you can sell one. I'd imagine though that if you create a seven dollar report with crappy video, and upsell a physical video series along with it at 27 you could rob the whole forum.
But yeah it's all some serious Shiite over there.

Unfortunately, yeah. Just create WSOs you too and forget about others.
 
I'd say that about now, maybe 1 in 10 WSO have a piece of useful information in them. I'd say maybe about 1 in 30 is a really good product that you can learn a lot from. I am also a fan of the software, plugins and tools that are sold as WSO's also.

There still is some useful stuff in there, but boy do you have to have your BS monitor on.

I want to make WSO also , but not sure if i can sell it or something like that

It would be about Facebook marketing, how to get traffic, how to gain friends, how not to get banned etc. Hot topic, but if i make WSO , could i get some nice cash ?

whilst i agree it's just as bad in sections on this forum The JV and wholesle sections are amock with scammers.

I'd say the information WSOs where the gurus reveal "secret methods" are crap. I find the products, things that are practical like WordPress plugins and scripts much better, they actually come to use.
 
I bought a number of WSOs when I was first starting out as an internet marketer. I would say there's a mix of good and bad and it's hard to know which is which.

Sometimes you have to sift through the garbage to get the gold.

Advice: Only buy WSO with money-back guarantees.

to tell the truth, i came into IM reading a WSO by Terry Kyle(back in 2009)
it was called backlink black-belt.... back than i used to find it amaizing

that wso had a list of 900 forums and showed how to manually make backlinks
and then i came to know xrumer :)
 
Why would they give a shot as they make profit of it. They are lucky as there is a new sucker every day so no matter what they do it keeps working. So when you need a WSO wait until it is shared here or somewhere else, they are all total garbage. Even when you get them for free here its mostly a waste of time. 99% fluff and if you are lucky 1% of something useful.
 
If making your own WSO to raise some cash, while maintaining at least a shred of your dignity, I'd follow WizGizmo's formula with a few changes:

1) Research about 10-12 previous WSOs on a topic, mark the best ideas you run across among the lot, and create a blueprint out of the combined good tips. There's your "new content" or twist foundation for a new WSO on the subject, which will at least save readers the bother of trogging through the mediocre dozen that came before.

2) Frame or title the WSO as "(Topic) for Smart Newbies--a Case Study" or some such. The 'noob' in the title covers you if critics don't think the material is advanced or groundbreaking enough. Writing it like a case study helps give it an air of authenticity, whether you based it on real experience or not.

3) Put lots of screen shots in it, to make it look more helpful from the spoonfeeding point of view. Alternatively, create a video series with the screenshots to add to the 'course' feel of the WSO. Use humbler hype language on the WSO sales thread, saying "I'm not one of those five figure gurus, but I have learned a few wrinkles to help you succeed..." Soft synonyms for "secrets" like that can be just about as good in hooking folks into buying.

And of course, make bank. That's all I can think of offhand, to put lipstick on the pig.
