I feel quite accomplished. First article i ever wrote for my authority site :) That wasn't even bad at all, it was challenging trying to find alternatives for copyscape though since i don't have any money in the bank yet :x

Everybody sweats copyscape too much, if it is going to your site who cares?

You need to have someone proofread it so you can learn how wel;l you do. I write well, but still flub some of the grammar sometimes.
 
Plagium (uses Yahoo and Bing to check) works the best if you're looking for free one .
 
I still recommend Copyscape since it picks up things that Plagium definitely leaves out. If you don't have any money and Copyscape is not an option then I guess that's the way to go, but I would see if you can get the minimum 5 or 10 bucks to have an account. You get a TON of searches for very little.
 
Grammarly has built-in plagiarism checker. However, the proofreading is subscription based(yearly subscription), but it's worth every penny(at least for me). OP, if you are planning of creating your own authoritative contents and you're not a native English speaker, Grammarly is a good option.

However, if you're looking for a free one, I think Plagium will do as suggested above.
 
Congratulations. It only gets easier. Till it gets harder.. lol eventually you will run out of things to say. By then you will have more then enough money to pay ppl to write for you..

I'll give you my bit of advice. plz dnt take it the wrong way. You said you do not have money "yet". well then you dnt deserve to hire someone! Meaning, there is no reason you cant make money off of your own hard work. Till the time comes when sitting down to actually write content wastes money, THEN you outsource. The key to any profitable business is to keep costs as low as possible. Keep writing buddy.

Techxan is 100000% right. I have been writing my own content for years and i wont even put it up till someone proof reads it for me.

ps i never used a anything like "copyscape.com". Why not make a deal with someone who knows English well ? I never paid to have my content proof read. If you would like PM me. Im sure we can work something out.

Congratulations OP. It's a good start. Continue writing and you will see the fruits of your labor down the line.
 
I'd go with Plagium since you're starting your way. You can always have spells check in browsers + nobody will point to your grammar unless it's very bad.
 
I just write it up on MS Word then copy it over. Rewording is enough to get copyscape off your back.
 
1. Create a free blog on Blogger.

2. Publish your article there.

3. Grab the URL of your post and paste it in Copyscape.

4. Delete the blog post from Blogger.

This is what i do. I have a blogger blog made just for testing content.
 
Gratz, I wrote my first one last month, took me ages. Getting a little quicker every time I do it.

SEO is a hard path to take, but once you get the hang of it, it can be really fulfilling. Be sure to celebrate all the small milestones/victories!
 
You were having problems with copyscape after just writing one article? In my opinion, you need to work on the quality of your content first. I noticed you also mentioned "my authority site," to have an authority, you are required to post a lot of articles on a regular basis, not just one. Rather than wasting time on creating threads, go create posts instead.
 
how is the progress with the article writting coming along? Been doing it for over 8 years and men sometimes it can get on your nerves! All the best though and welcome to the club of writers!
 
Content is very important part of SEO and internet marketing today, if you write good content, people would find you in search engines.
