Wrong profile name appearing on screen

Hi there,

We've had a couple of reports of the wrong username displaying on the top of the screen.

There's been database work carried out over the weekend and for a few hours some of the previous caching issues re-occurred.

This should now be resolved but rather than take any chances please let us know if you see this. Submit a support ticket with the following information:


1. Page source, via pastebin.com

2. traceroute info for www.blackhatworld.com via pastebin.com

3. imgur or imageshack link to screenshot with incorrect profile and timestamp

Traceroute instructions to follow.

To run traceroute on Windows:

Click Start, type cmd and press the Enter key.


This will bring up a command prompt window with text like this:
C:\Users\yourname> _

After the command prompt, type:
tracert www.blackhatworld.com

You may have to wait up to a minute or more for the test to complete.When finished, right-click the window and Select All.
Hit CTRL+C to copy the text.
Go to pastebin.com and paste the text. Submit and send us the link.


To Perform a Traceroute in Mac OS X

Launch Network Utility.
Click Traceroute.
Enter blackhatworld.com
Click Trace.
Select the results, and then right-click and select Copy or press COMMAND+C to copy the text.

Go to pastebin.com and paste the text. Submit and send us the link.
