Am I still able to bank it in?

For example, my name is John Paul Young (assumingly)
but they mispelled it as John Baul Young

So am I still able to bank it in?

It should be fine...i deposited a check last month with no signature and it went through.I guess it all depends on your bank.

You should be fine as that's obviously a misspelling. Make sure you endorse it (sign the back) when you deposit it. However, I would get them to fix my name as soon as possible.

The person you got it from could dispute it and cause problems for you

you should be able to cash it. last month I got a really big check from CU and I ripped it all the way through because of how exited I was opening it. lol..They cashed it without a problem

Thanks guys!

It's quite strange, imo.

I already typed my name correctly in my affiliate account, yet the company still sent out the cheque with a typo =/

Maybe they were thinking 'no way is this guy the pope, you're gonna be a Baul'

jk, know you made that up

lol! nice one.

But damn, I just gotta hope it will bank in successfully... especially now when I need a pile of cash to prepare.

Contact your bank and ask them if they can accept it, if not, then contact the sender and explain the issue.

it really doesn't matter what the name sais, i put all my checks in my gf's bank account.
with bank of America... i just put it in... make sure it clears fist... then you should be good
