Writing is Depressing

As some other people here have mentioned, if your writing vague or "easy-to-get-into" material then don't be surprised. The market is saturated with foreign writers, and mediocre writers who all want to become rich by writing vague or common knowledge pieces. My advice is to specialize, find any hobby or talent you have an interest in and start there. Then generate content in the way of blogs, write for opinion articles and so on. Just get your words out there in an effort to better your writing and provide exposure for yourself.
