I've been writing / blogging for years and I have a few sites in different niches that I have made quite popular. I'm not interested in doing anything other than writing articles, as opposed to marketing products and optimizing margins etc.

I really don't care what I am writing about, and my other websites are, in hindsight, in terrible niches for making money. If I don't care what I'm writing about, what should I go after? I know weight loss, financial, dating, health are very big but I want a niche with lots of new developments and things to write about.

Looking at targeting a specific country so looking to do something extremely profitable and competitive and hopefully make a bigger impact on a more targeted audience rather than going global.

    Some ideas:

    1) If you're just interested in writing, you still have to attract people who are trying to market, optimize etc. How about doing research to find low-competition keywords related to writing on high-demand niches, and set up a blog to promote your availability to write on those subjects?

    2) You could also join Fiverr (and ten other clones, under the same email/Paypal) and promote the same gig on all of them. Use your email as the hub to receive notifications on that exact gig from whichever gig site, to keep track of the jobs. Then use the blog as the promotion hub, to link to each specific gig url across different posts, by drawing traffic to the blog through SEO, video, social media ans so on.

    3) Place free or fee ads for your services (depending on the rules) on sites and forums. Answer ads to offer your services, etc.
