Hi All,

Currently waiting on a guest post I paid for from marketplace, I also found an online magazine in my niche that are writing about my story and agreed to put a link in, so that's 2 so far.

I've been reading about how you need a lot of articles to help rank organically, what is the reason for this and how can I do it effectively? Does google just see that all your articles mention a lot of the keywords and boost your position for them? Is there any other tactics around this method I am missing other than just write some relevant articles? Also is it ok to just copy someone else's article and change it a bit? how accurate is google at telling it you copied it?

Thanks

I'm not sure about this but my friend has done it twice... Like after a certain number of content, he started ranking higher for new articles low competition.

Now I tried the same exact thing and my website has been live for 57 days now.

In the first month, most of my new articles were ranking 70~100+

After publishing around 30 articles, I noticed that most of these articles are ranking the first page now (for easy keywords, obviously)

I think there's a possibility that Google will favor your website after a certain number of articles. (relevant)

It’s not entirely clear how the process works, but producing and posting content with regularity will eventually result in an increase in rank. We believe that it is caused by a combination of increased organic traffic (as more posts will inevitably result in people eventually finding your site) and Google’s algos starting to take your site more seriously.
Whatever it is, though, the game remains the same: keep putting out content and you will keep ranking up. Make the content better and you will rank higher and faster.

is it possible to rank for multiple almost different keywords? for eg if you wanted to do cars and also planes. would google give you a lesser rank on one topic because you have two different subjects on the site? vs if you had just the one type of articles instead of both?

Depends, if u write generally about cars and planes you would need HIGH AUTHORITY to survive competition.

But let's say you write about cars engines and plane engines, then you would rank good for engines.

There is a possibility of ranking for the same article with different keywords if your prepare content is long enough.
In general, trying to rank with the same articles with different topics is not a great idea. You have to make sure these two topics have the individual targeting page for these two different keywords.

Posting informative articles consistently will help to get better results, keeps site active and retains user interest. Avoid copied content, try valuable content with user intent this will help in long term.
