It's a good, organized plan for writing a lot of different new articles, but it's terribly human resource intensive. Are you really going to bum-article write that many per niche? What if you are building a blog farm, can you afford to allocate that much labor per niche site?
How about a 408 articles in 1 day plan: Write one article, then do a careful, sentence per sentence re-write. Put both versions into a spinner (MAR, PAR, Best Spinner, etc) and do a human-readable spin syntax of all sentences. Then spin 100 versions. For the effort of one write up, one rewrite and one spin, you end up with 102 substantially unique, human-readable articles suitable for sites, directories, and web 2.0 submissions. Repeat for 3-4 articles, and for effort equivalent to working on only 12 articles a day, you'll be creating 408 articles a day.
