I've been using WPRobot for a while now, and its been getting me tons of Amazon sales every month, and when i check my Daily Trends, I'm ALWAYS getting a few hundred clicks, and a couple buys...

Anyway..I upgraded hosts (Went TO hostgator) and it all abruptly slowed way down. I went from like a 100-200 clicks a day to like 30! I left my sites on host gator for about a month to see if it woild get any better. Nope.

So I finally switched them all back to my original host (Where I was getting "mad" traffic, and their getting like 10 amazon clicks, a day. Thats DOWN 90%.

I'm using WPRobot 2.07 (from a fellow BHW User)

Anyone else getting the problem of WPRobot slowing down?

Think it would help if I reset all the posts from wprobot?

do you still get the same amount of traffic?
how can wp robot be the problem?

hostgator is pretty bad about turning of wp-cron on autoblog sites. So basically your site isn't creating any new content. No new content no new visitors.

If it was working well before why mess with it and change providers. Stick with what works.

lol...If anyone is getting the same problem of WPRobot rarely posting. And if I reset all my wprobot posts, if that would help.

It has to be WProbot, because it rarely posts anymore.

CyberGlitch: I switched, hosts becuase my host was pretty slow. SO thought if I switch to a faster server, I'll get more hits, and less wait time.

yeah, i've got 4 autoblogs with WPRobot, every once in awhile I notice it starts acting up, and have to go through and reset all the posts, or force it to post, and it's going good again. I haven't heard anything from the hosting side though, so I too would be curious about that, though i wouldn't doubt that Hostgator is someway involved in the issue, i can't stand their hosting. I've been using Hosting24.com for over year now, and they've been fantastic, with very cheap prices.

Hostgator do turn off cron jobs if you are using a higher than normal (according to them) server load. They have turned mine off several times. Install some sort of caching like wp super cache and check via ftp your wp-cron.php file for its permissions. If Hostgator turn it off they will be 0000. They need to be 0644. They do turn this off without telling you.

How do I go about Reseting all the posts in WPRobot?

Thanks in advance

There is a button under the main settings that should say "reset all !"

Man I have HG and have hundreds of clicks thru at amazon and 0 sales...

Well sometimes if its not one thing ... its another. :)

I dont htink those are actual visitor clicks ,If you are using cloaking option most likely it's a spiders following your links.

But I'm getting sales? Just hard to see what's working when it says that the clicks come from "other clicks"

Make diff tracking ids for each individual site. That will let you know which of your sites are attracting visits and clicks.
Even if the customer buys something other than what you have on your site it's still your sale since the 24-hr Amazon cookie credited you.
