Hey,

So I am investigating WPCloaker as the cloaking medium for fb ads campaign. I do understand that the cloaker uses redirects to direct fb away and potential leads towards your lander. However, how does WPcloaker tell which is FB and which is not. Is there a setting that you must select or do you have to manually track and log visits from Facebook so the plug in learns who's who.

Please note I have not downloaded or installed it yet. I am just trying to get some info from the people who used it to see if its a plug and play or something you have to build up to work with data.

Thanks

WPCloaker or any other cloaker on the market filters the visits primarily based on the originating IP address and the User agent of the visitors.

You can segregate your traffic as:
1. Bots (Ad networks/SE bots)
2. Human verification staff (Ad networks like Google/FB)
3. Real price of cake (organic and ad traffic).

Cloaker redirects 1 & 2 to your compliance page (based on the originating IP address) & redirects 3 to your money page.

Since you asked for WPCloaker, it comes with a user manual (not just about the tool, but about the process too). Don't just rely on reviews. Choose your cloaker wisely; based on the origin of your traffic.

Hope this help!
