Hi,
I have a theme (Concept1) downloaded from wplocker and I need to remove "(shared on wplockercom)" from Theme name in style.css file. How to do that? When I delete this manualy and save style.css theme does not work.

Thanks for your help.Snímek obrazovky 2014-08-08 v 9.00.09.png

go and do that from the wordpress editor of your dashboard and it will work.

dashboard > appearance > editor > style.css > check the top and remove, hit save after.

Hi, I tried to remove from dashboard > appearance > editor > style.css m, but still the same problem, content from Theme Option disapeared. And theme is changed to default. I can not change anything without Theme Options. Snímek obrazovky 2014-08-08 v 10.02.28.png

I think you shouldn't download themes from this site...

I'm still scrutinizing...is it possible that the solution is to remove the "shared on wplocker" via worpress editor before doing any configurations or adding contents to the theme?

Save the whole theme folder to your PC.

Drag the whole folder into notepad++

Search for "wplocker", remove every instance of it.

CTRL + Shift + S

Upload the folder back to your site via FTP.

awesome, will check it out!

Oh and btw my old webpage which used a theme from wplocker now suddenly has every one of its hyperlinks redirected to wassrootwit. ru , Also I noticed earlier(couple weeks before the incident) that my mail client inbox of my other webpage got spam-mailed by that old webpage of mine. Does it sound more to you guys like it's a hosting issue, theme issue, or just tough luck?

Edit: the drag and drop the whole theme folder to notepad++ idea did not seem to be possible. Thanks anyway.

Lol it is possible. Try opening the folder first and dragging its contents into notepad++

- open Notepad++.
- CTRL + F -> select "find in files"
- Find what: wplocker
- Directory: select the folder

edit: Rezip the folder before uploading it, unzip on the server. You can also use binary mode. If you upload the raw folder you might end up with corrupt files since FTP is the worst.

You described it rather poorly, so I can only imagine as of what really happened. Are both of those sites on the same host? In any case, a theme issue is highly unlikely.

Do not use WPLocker stuff for commercial purposes. Just don't. Even if you remove the superficial labeling, in many cases encoded scripts / code and malware remain.

I know this is BlackHat, but don't infect client sites with garbage. Mess up your own :P
