WP - Robot?

I know this is not 2009 anymore but I get emails periodically from the WP Robot folks as I have that plugin from back in the day sitting around on a shelf in a closet out in the hallway leading out to the garage.

I have a handful of domains sitting around in a different closet taking up room where I could put other useless stuff so I thought I would marry the two of them up and see if there would be a happy union or domestic disputes left and right.

Is anyone using WP Robot anymore with any success at all?

I do not want to know settings, niches, etc just if it is even worth the 42 minutes it takes to setup WP and install WP Robot on a site. I'll figure out the settings and niches; just looking to see if anyone is having a minimal amount of success using it.

Wp-Robot don't know if it still have some potential to make money. seems like a useless tool in regards to today's google algo's and seo, but i think someone with great imagination and some skills can still make it profitable.

Well, I had this microniche website, that i didnt pay any attention to, and i didn't earn any money. Tried for fun to install wp-robot on it, and it increased like 180 on serpranking after about a week. I guess it still can be useful

it suck now eventhough it is the most powerful tool for amazon affiliate in the past, with an update, wp robot got many problems, they cannot generate big thumbail, with almost of the theme they even cannot show the thumbail when auto post in amazon funtion, cannot generate customer review in ebay or amazon like it was in the past

Getting almost 3k visits per month from Google for some shitty autoblogs I made back in ~2010. Never touched them after the setup but they still get some visits.

Never tried anything serious with it though.

I don't use WP-Robot but I do use very similar tools on a couple of sites.
Auto blogging is dead (IMO) but if you choose the right sites to syndicate from, then you can still pull in a few visitors.
I try to look for sites that have quality information but might not have good on-page SEO.
If you pull from a few sites and also use an SEO plugin then it can be worth the price of a domain to set up.
There are still plenty of people that aren't interested in SEO or making money from their site but still like to post regularly to their site/blog.
If you find, you are then outranking the sites you are syndicating the articles from, you can then approach them and offer your SEO services.

I use WP robot on a few sites. The auto posting for products is good, the auto posting for articles is unmitigated garbage.

I always go in and rewrite the articles it posts to keep quality up.

It takes a hell of a long time to tweak it out, but once you get it all figured out, it does a good job. I use it with product feeds from various vendors.

Its not a big money maker, its a little one. It sits there and sucks money off the internet week after week. Some weeks I make $4, some $100.

Use it for the blog portion of a website, load the wp portion in a folder called "products" instead of "blog" or "wp" ( I generally build html sites, and then add a WP blog instead of building in WP) and it looks natural.

I use it in conjunction with CMS commander, so I can manage all the sites from one place.

What I wish it could do is post articles from an article bank you create rather than pulling them from article directories.

You have the tool and the sites, and you waste a lot of time on this forum anyway. Spend a little time on this and see what you get. Its a small revenue stream, but a revenue stream nontheless.

You have to rewrite the articles though, or the site will not be quality.

Given the state of the algorithm I wouldn't take the risk, especially if you intend on using for link building. That being said, others in this thread have had moderate success with it.

Do you kow what WP robot is? Do you build links with it?

I made an experiment with a completely autoblog site. I published more than 500 articles and sent links with GSA. The first month it reached top 10 for a low competitive keyword. Second month google penalized it.

If you don't mind me asking, what are some similar tools you've had success with?

Just saw this thread after I searched for the keyword. Reason? One of my test sites has just been smashed big time...Last week it was on pages 3, 7 and 8 for 3 keywords I was targeting and this morning they have gone to pages 18, nowhere and nowhere.
I have to say, I was surprised they had risen that far as the 73 posts were generally rubbish as I didn't amend any of them.

I use it for amazon marketing. It takes me a few minutes to build my sites. I have now automated building the sites using imacros. WP Robot is working for me especially the browse node function. You need to change your robots file, so that the spiders do not go to the plugin. You also need to change the name of the plugin folder it installs in, to lessen this footprint.

Most of my traffic comes from sites other than Google, but I can see that more and more pages / posts / product listings are being indexed, since I made the changes to the way I install the plugin.

Why autoblogging is dead any proofs ? You need right domain + lots of pages indexed.

I am using it with my PBNs. It works ok, but you should to rewrite text (I am not talking about default english any language rewriting but about true synonimized rewriting with external service). After last PBN action I have lost 15% of sites. The problem was probably in cheap hosts and NOT in WP Robot. They probably manually checked sites with WP hosted on cheap hosts. The other problem is that soon will be probably more manual actions from quality staff. That is why I have stopped building this type of websites. WP is very risky especially from time when it uses G fonts in the WP's admin panel (I know that many of You don't agree with it but...). Of course there are a few methods to stop it but you will never know if new update of WP will push you another shit. Many of hosts use automatic update of WP and it is kind of trap. You can loose all your website in one day. So I suggest protect yourself if you are going to use WP + WP Robot.

Has anyone considered using wp-robot to generate sites that don't rely on ranking for traffic? I've got a bunch of Twitter accounts that have been building up by posting links to articles in carefully chosen niche RSS feeds. The whole shebang had two main problems.

1. It was impossible to easily monetise because while the Twitter accounts drove a ton of clicks, they were all to other websites. I'm helping them to make money!

2. The second problem was that everything was sorted and managed through Yahoo Pipes, and as of any day now yahoo pipes will be shut down.

So I've got a shit-ton of RSS feeds that I have been using since 2011 and that I know punt out top quality content, and I've got a shit-ton of Twitter accounts that publicise that content and drive traffic.

Wp-robot would appear to be a nice way of using the assets I have built up to actually make some money. Seo ranking will be almost entirely irrelevant.
