WP Robot - Something to invest in?

If auto blogging is something that you are interested in then wp robot is the plugin you're going to want. I highly recommend though I was lucky enough to grab a free copy here before the thread was deleted, lol. I am currently only using it for a couple sites; a video blog and a article blog. Both have had zero issues. Teamed up with the right plugins (something to make your content unique) and its golden.

You might want to compare WPR with blogsense WP before making your decision.

I used WP Robot 3.1 for one month and from what I can see, it's a great investment. The other software I was thinking of buying was PowerAutoblog but no one on the forum every mentioned or suggested it which stopped me from purchasing it.

i prefer Carty's Autoblogging Software/Autoblog Samurai over WP-Robot for the following reasons:
1) WP-Robot is a plugin while Carty's software is a desktop application. if you have 100+ autoblogs and you want to make a modification, you need to log into every single one of the blogs, one at a time, to add a new rss feed or whatever. having all the blogs in one place with a desktop application is much much easier to run lots of autoblogs
2) WP-Robot can only take content from sites that offer full rss feeds. Carty's software has an extremely advanced rss extraction process where it can take the link from a partial feed, go to that site, and extract the content. this means you have UNLIMITED sources of content, which makes autoblogging a lot easier
also, Carty's software is way cheaper. i got an email a couple days ago saying it was on sale for only $50, while last time i checked getting wp-robot with all the modules was like $200+. price isn't a huge factor though, cause both softwares are high-quality enough that you should be able to make that money back in no time if you use them correctly
i have heard good things about blogsense but have never checked it out. can you elaborate on how it compares to wp-robot or carty's software?

I'd be interested in the plugins you're referring to. I have WP Robot and it works great, but the problem obviously is duplicate content.

IMO whether you're going to a usual blog or an autoblog in either cases if you have any of these automation tools it definitely is going to help you further in monetization and boosting your business anyhow. Don't forget that Automation is the key these days for quicker and better growth.

- WP Robot control centre lets you control all your autoblogs from one place while Blogsense owner Hudson is also planning for something which would allow the administration of all blogsense sites from one point.
- WP Robot Needs some of the themes to be tweaked and customized accordingly while you can make Blogsense WP to fit according to theme.
- WP Robot can't pull data from custom sources while you can pull data from any website with Blogsense WP
- WP Robot is not updated so frequently while Blogsense WP is updated frequently, sometimes even 2-3 times a week or maybe even more.
- WP Robot is a wordpress plugin and Blogsense WP is a tool which you place in your root of public_html or www directory.
- Blogsense WP lets you preview data before being published while WP Robot doesn't

Some great information here! Your input is very much appreciated! I am going to go ahead and grab myself a copy of wp robot. I found a coupon which made it only 129 bucks instead of 169 for the full elite version.

imo worth the money with the voucher - easy to set up and user friendly although can be a bit glitchy with certain WP addons such as dup content (it stops your scheduler working 1970 error, g00gle it for me info) - cant comment on the other one mentioned but proxified seems to have it covered.

I have to say I did buy WP Robot and asked for a refund in a week (which I got no problems) but what I saw from teh one blog I did was it would pick info that was somewhat related to my blog but at the same time ai think it was more me then the software. it made the blog look "spammy" as some of the articels posted were full of links to other peoples sites since it takes direct from article base. You can delete them but its work to do. Also the articles were close to my keywords but again it just made the blog look spammy. Now if my mind changes and I dont care what the blog looks like then yea WP robot does the job.

That's why you shouldn't let it look like an autoblog!! Or are you planning on telling google you are setting up a few autoblogs?
BTW!! I'm busy with a php script which can create unlimited autoblogs in no time! It will create 10/500/1000, whatever amount you want. All on auto!
It will fetch themes from external sources, install it, activate all your plugins and the lot.
If you want to see it in action, PM me and I'll show you how far I am with it!
And yes, it is compatible with wp-robot!
I tried it and the post is coming out pretty jumbled. I do appreciate the help though

I won't suggest going with uniquefier as in the short run it may give you good results but in the later stages it will get your blog banned from search engines.
Google will always be a barrier for blackhatters, you just need to find out a way to get the rid off those barriers. And for monetization with autoblogs their are infinite sources other than adsense so you can always opt for them.
