I STRONGLY disagree with you
ronywilliam.
This is ridiculous. You ask about one product, then competitors of that product try to bash it and advertise their own. While iautoblog does have great points, when you
outright lie about a competitors product, it gets annoying.
Oh really?
$300/yr self hosted? Where'd you pull that number out of your ass? I run an wp-robot autoblog just fine at
$72/yr. (With over 10 other domains on it, btw)
You are doing it wrong. There are tons of people on here that have success with WP-ROBOT + TBS. I get my WP-ROBOT blog indexed just fine, perhaps you meant you wont be struggling to get it indexed? Then I'd agree with you.
Do I double-check my posts?
- Of course I do. I prep them with some SEO enhancements/proper formatting and double check that it is readable. TBS spins are on-the-fly, but I like to make sure that there is at least some sort of quality, clean up the tags, and add a proper featured image. You can just as easily stick in a bunch of your PLR articles and use that 100% of the time.
Back to the OP's original questions:
-There are quite a few autobloggers that use WP-Robot + TBS on this forum. You should do a search for their threads before making any purchases.
- Before jumping onto the autoblog platform in general, autoblogging is harder than it used to be (especially Post-Panda).
- WP-Robot has a PLR module where you can specify your own PLR modules.
For a method on autoblogging (with a lot of feedback)
- you should check out Shezboy's thread:

Other uses for WP-ROBOT (set to Draft Mode and not Publish Mode)
- I use it for non-autoblogs, too. It helps me grab quick ideas!
- I can quickly find some clickbank products that are suited to me (with my links already in them).
- If I need an article about X widget reviews I just grab a post about it, and rewrite it with my own words (targeted for SEO/keywords).
