I have something I have never come across before. I have created a database for a site and have configed the files. For some reason when I upload them to one directory it works, and the other it doesnt.

This is creating very weird issues such as images not uploading to the right directory, issues with log in pages switching and widgets not working.

Does anyone know whats going on here?

It should be related to your directory permission.

With regards to images, you should go into WP admin/settings/media and make sure that under the section uploading files where it says sore uploads in this folder you should put, wp-content/uploads, also in cpanel make sure that you give the wpcontent/uploads folder the correct permissions. This should take care of your image issues. If you can elaborate on the other problems we can do our best to help you to sort them.
