I did a quick search and couldn't find anything. I can't imagine how a plugin would post an image per post, but you can bulk upload images straight through Wordpress (drop them into the upload section).
There is a plugin for mass page creator, so I'm assuming you can change it to make posts instead of pages. Hope this helped.

Don't know if this is much help, but when i'm doing this in joomla, i usually use an ecommerce plugin, and there is always a csv upload option. I adjust the template to remove all the fields except the description, and the image, and then i upload them all, and it looks like they are posted, maybe twist this idea for wp?
