What is a good WP plugin for selling and managing back links throughout an entire blog? I need to be able to easily replace all versions of a phrase with a certain url.

Go to wordpress site and search backlinks plugins. You will get some good plugins. Even, I did not use any plugins for selling backlinks. I use software for it.

What kind of software do you use? I really wont even be selling the links, I will be using them for my other sites. So something simple is OK.

I spent 10k custom coding one to manage my HPBL networks as nothing commerical exists to do it well. With that said you might Link Farm Evolution.
