WP plug-in like FB chat?

I was browsing a site and I saw at the bottom it said "chat". I thought it was one of those ad things but it wasn't. I opened it up and it was exactly like the FB chat. And it displayed members who were online and you could chat to them.

Does anyone know what this is called if it's a plug-in? Or is it custom built?
