I have a site set up on blogger atm but ive realized that most people use WP and was wondering if i should switch now while my site is still in its early stages. and what are the big advantages with WP over blogger.

A very important factor in our online experience as webmasters is the index time. Well BLOGGER wins this time because it has a big advantage: it's hosted on google servers. The result is incredible: start a new blog and you'll get indexed in less then 24 in google. Yes this is a true and tested thing. The WP site is just another website from the SE point a view but on B. it gets some extra points for being a blog.

WP has plugins, more themes and overall more control than blogger. There have been many cases where people get their blog deleted without notice on Blogger by Google.

There are many advantages when you use WP some are here, Plugins or Blog Widgets:- Wordpress has more plugins or widgets available for bloggers. Publishing or Editing Blog Posts:- In Wordpress, publishing a new or edited post is far faster than Blogger. URL Structure Options are many an d easy to use.TrackBack capability:-Wordpress has the ability to track back other blogs' link juice to your blog with an excerpts or portion of texts of its posts. Wordpress themes, indexing and HTML or blog template editing so easy and fast. lots of best free Wordpress themes are available.

WP is is very user friendly site. You can Add content there very easily and in WP - you'll get a huge numbers of themes. And - in the setting page - you can find that - there are a lots of options for sharing your Pages in Social Bookmarking sites.

And - I've Blogger & WP Sites, I'm using both of them but in WP - I'm getting more visitors than blogger.

But one thing - can anyone tell me - How can I add My Adsense account in my WP blog?

@Swagg422 Wordpress is user friendly while still being very flexible. Blogger, well it is user friendly.

The use of plugins in wordpress can really help you make money online. In fact a lot of people make all of their money with services provided by the plugins and themes of wordpress. I definitely suggest switching over.

@SEOZONE3 You can just use the code generated in your adsense account, or you can get a plugin that displays a header or footer or sidebar for adsense. Just search "Adsense" in the plugin directory and you will have many options to choose from

Hope this helps.

Wordpress has got better themes, better plugins and customization is far more easy than blogspot.Well after the penguin I can't even see blogspot blogs on Google !(so better seo on wordpress)

try it out for yourself .. create a free blog on wordpress.com .. and see the difference .. note that when you created a self hosted blog on your domain .. you will have luxury of thousands of plugins and millions of themes ..

I've used blogger for so damn long and I can say that it has the ease of use that Wordpress has minus all the plugins.

By that I mean most themes nowadays are made for Wordpress including timers, bars, widgets, seo stuff, etc.

Blogger has ease of use though (Search preference that the Wordpress doesn't have, easy navigation through menu, etc.

would WP be better for SEO and CPA ads trying to get my ads as targetted as possible. cant use adsense a former friend got me banned last year.

Wordpress has an Import/Export feature, which you can use to transfer your Blogger blog to WP.

Have a look at the WP Dashboard on the left side, you'll see it.

play around with the various platforms and you will see which is best for you

Definatley WP.

Had many WP site get indexed and show up on page 1 or 2 within 24 hours, never have i done this with Blogger and believe me ive made twice as many blogger sites i actually started to think google doesnt like its own creation.

wordpress has too many functions than blogger , as we cant edit the blogger theme as we are able to do in the wordpress , further wordpress supports plugin feature which blogger lacks, yes it is right to say that blogger is free as it is hosted on the google servers but why to take risk of loosing your blogger anytime that the hardwork you did will get trashed one time without the proper notice .
the real webmaster never choose blogger if he wants the long term business .so my vote really goes to wordpress than blogger .
