Looks like C & D is a response to it.
What do you guys think about it? I’ve never mistook WPEngine for Wordpress to be honest.
Nice oneSomeone should build a site called wpenginesupport. If they can use wp, you can use wp engine I assume? And just have a live chat that says connecting in 2 mins to agent please wait, and then it connects to agent and says, please confirm this validation (CPA campaign) lol
It’s unfortunate to see such legal disputes within the WordPress community, especially between prominent companies like WP Engine and Automattic. The cease-and-desist letter from WP Engine indicates serious concerns over the allegations of misinformation..
Yes, those are strong words. From that page; “they are a cancer to WordPress”.
Strong words.
What do you guys think about it? I’ve never mistook WPEngine for Wordpress to be honest. I understand they’re a hosting provider.
I’m assuming that Wordpress just wants WPEngine to contribute to the Wordpress project more, seeing as they benefit from it in their business, and WPEngine said no. Now Wordpress/automatic are pissed.
