Log on to my WP account to find a sudden increase of UV's, noticed some idiot is spamming my website with his "explode extreme" and various of forums of his crap.
Constantly making accounts etc.. i have spam plugins in place which are making his attempt pointless but they still continue.

Anything i can do to block/stop or should i just ride it out? Not necessarily damaging but site, just annoying.

It is definitely irritating, do install an ip-tracker and just permanently banned the bot..
The tester may be building a DDOS system and take you down when he experienced success near future

I can't think why thou, site is new (week or so old) Nothing to do with fitness, training, body building etc.. which is what he is spamming my site with.
Ill get an IP tracker now, get rid of this idiot.

Negative SEO is rampant now.

Only thing you can do is join google webmaster stools and disavow the bad links. This google's idea of the future of the WWW, everyone is hostage of their webmaster tools thing, unless you join, you can be targetted with negseo.

Change the registration url and wording? e.g: instead of "create an account" to "sign up". I don't know as it has never happened to me. But he's probably using a bot so changing that should fix it as the automation process will get broken. Unless he is specifically targeting you, in that case that's a different story.

I am sure you can block his ip address if his ip address is static.
