WP automatic + DeepL = ranking?

10k clicks/month so far with WP Automatic. I've basically worked two times on the site in the last two years. It could be much better if I put the work.
A few takeaways from my own experience:
1. Internal linking is crucial! this test site is based solely on that. Every other element of the content and SEO is crap. But now all pages are indexed. The HCUs by Google pushed it up every time, then the lack of care drags it down (im never updating the articles).
2 Get a VA to proofread the translations. The campaigns settings are not enough to prevent all mistakes that Deeply will make. The tentative would be to use OPEN AI to translate, but you gotta have a very good prompt (would be interesting to work on this).
3. Use an aged domain. My one was a DR0, but still good enough to get the posts indexed if properly interlinked.
For now this is all that comes to mind.

100 articles. Language is... European, not very close to English but sharing some aspects. I can't go deeper than that. But anyway, the language doesn't matter really, Deepl translations are the best you can get (which is crap anyway)

I have tried this in the past and it didn't rank for me, I think Google sees it as duplicate content. I have also tried it in Dutch by the way.
