I've followed some guides around here but I've noticed all my posts don't have anything filled in using this plugin.

I have tags on my posts but in the All In One SEO Plugin, I don't have anything in the keywords textbox. Is it necessary to use this plugin combined with the tags?

AIO doesn't change anything from your WP post, it's just for search engines. You can make tags yourself or use other plugins for that purpose.

In other words, not having anything in the AIO plugin is hurting more than its benefiting me?

No. In the description box, put what you want the description to be under your website link when people see it on Google.

I recommend you get WP Easy SEO and it will tell you what to put in that box for best on-site seo.

That link won't work from me because it's a checkout and will only show on your computer. Easy WP SEO is shared on this forum, use the search function.

Oh ok, thanks.

I don't think it's going to work anymore.

1. After uploading it, it suggests an upgrade and the upgrade gives an error.
2. When going to plugin, it asks for a serial from when purchased. Blah.

AIO SEO provides tags as well as redirects. It is a most widely used tool developed solely for Search Engines. It does nothing to the original content
of the site.

What exactly are you asking mate? So you've activated the plugin, now when you go to an individual post or page in your WP dashboard, scroll down and you will see the SEO settings. Add your title, description and keywords in the corresponding boxes..

Well, I've seen many guides mention to download this plugin, but they never stated anything on how to use it. So I didn't know if it was one of those plugins that maybe worked on its own or what.

I also recommend "easy wp seo" stellar plugin, you really can't go wrong with it installed.

I tried to upload that plugin but it gave me a lot of issues. I found it on the thread but when I uploaded it, it asked me for a license on the plugin's setting page.

It doesn't work on its own. You need to fill in the fields at the bottom of each post/page in your WP admin dashboard.
