It is heaven from almost any point of view if you have lot of money. if you're not earning 10k+ per month then forget it. Monaco is full of rich guys with Ferraris, Lambos, and other 100k+ cars.

If you're interested in not being surrounded by average people, but only by rich people, then it's indeed a paradise. But of course it costs a hell lot of money.

Id recommend living in Monaco if a person is making at least $20,000 a month or more. Just a small studio apartment is going to be around $3400 a month.

it is sure a heaven-like place but it can be very expensive to live there because rich people looking for low tax hence the high standard of living.

Believe it or not its actually cheap for the normal tourist. We went there a few years ago for a day (we were in South france for a holiday) and things like sandwiches, soft drinks etc were fairly reasonable. But yes its mega rich and those Yachts OMG. Even though its a few years ago, I still remember the biggest, Lady Moura when we were there. Owned by a rich Saudi guy. I wish I had of been there also for yesterdays grand prix

It isn't worth it for anything less than 20k. Even a basic two bedroom apartment here will set you back 5k per month. I look at my rent as my "tax" but if you have an income of 10k, that suddenly is a 50% "tax". Granted you get a basic flat for free, but it is still not worth it... If you make enough though, it is absolutely paradise. Not only are there no taxes, you don't even have to file a tax return...

If anyone do decide to move to Monaco, drop me a PM if you want advice on banks (you need a local bank to give you a reference for your residence permit), real estate agents etc etc.
