I'm not sure what this means... but I may have stumbled upon something useful... or useless, I'm not sure.
I'm SEO'ing a website that is a pretty new domain. It now "technically" should be the dominate site in its geo-targeted niche... it has more quality links then all but 1 other site. It appears in G around spot number 14... and hasn't moved in a few weeks.
Well...
For the heck of it I went to google UK and searched the keyword... and low and behold the site is listed at spot #2. Wow... everything else on the SERPS is the same... but this site is #2 in UK rather than #14 in U.S.
I have believed that it SHOULD be #2 in the SERPS. But, its #14. I'm wondering if its just being "held back" by Google U.S. because it is a new site, and this UK ranking gives an indication of its REAL rank since MAYBE the same filters don't exist in the UK for US sites???
I checked several other niches and they appear about right...
Any thoughts? Anyone ever notice something similar?
