Wow earthquake

Man just had a earthquake here in Oklahoma. Biggest in the history of our state. 5.2 on the scale. We don't usually get them here. Thought it was going to kill my computer. I better get a external backup. Anyone else feel it? Who has some crazy earthquake experiences?

Yeah Kansas here, it woke me up.. At first I thought it was sleep paralysis and just went back to bed but then the texts started flowing in. I wonder what it's from - oil fracking? If that's the case I have a feeling we are going to have some consequences down the line unbeknownst to us... Remember that giant sinkhole in Mexico a while back? But I'm not a geologist so I really don't know, it's just interesting to think about.

Update: it was originally reported as a 5.2, now they say it's a 5.6.

5.6 on the scale, damn I think that fucking huge volcano is going to go soon
 
Sheesh, yea my whole place was shaking like crazy. Saying 5.6 now.
 
What are you people doing out there? Fracking too much?
 
A 5.6 for Oklahoma is pretty darned big. I live close to the New Madrid Fault over here in Missouri, and we haven't one that big in a long time.

Strange times we live in...

Find a reliable cloud hosting service and you should be ok ... Here in NZ we get alot of earthquakes so I'm thinking about a cloud service sometime in the near future.

Nah 5.2 is pretty rare over here too. We get tiny tremors once in a while but we're bracing ourselves for the next big one. Keep safe over there!

A lot of earthquakes lately..I wonder if there is a connection between them as they say.(Elenin and all this stuff)
 
5.6? That's so small. I'm used to earthquakes over 6.5.Guess next year everybody will say any earthquake has something to do with the end of the world, 2012.

That's life, sometimes good things happen, sometimes bad. Anyway, i think there's not much to worry about, considering that's the strongest ever.
 
Yeah it's not the end of the world :)

I live in Ohio, I can't say I felt it here but we have at least one quake a year here. Nothing to worry about, really!

People start jumping to conclusions when stuff like this happens but it's been going on sense the beginning of time on earth. Nothing major has changed...
