I'm wondering if its morally ok to steal someones product and reverse engineer it and basically knock it off (because they don't have it patented) and sell for the same price or a bit lower with better marketing in order to make myself money?

Instead of just ripping it off, add something special that makes your version even better. Then you're morally in the clear and you might even be able to charge more!

I'm personally would do it as long as I have the competency. However It's morally incorrect eventhough based on law, you're not doing something illegal I guess.
